hi all
i am new to oracle apps
i have a questions, can anyone help me?
for example , we have 10 users
i want to add sysadmin responsibility to 5 users (query only mode ) and also give full access permission to another 3 users. how can i give query only permission to users.
Any help will be appreciated.

'Query only' parameter can be added to a form. There is no short cut way to add it to a responsibility. So for the 5 users, these are the steps you need to perform.
1.Create query only forms - you can create query only forms by adding parameter 'QUERY ONLY' check this parameter out by seeing a couple of view only forms and how they have been defined.
2. now add these forms to a new menu.
3. assign this menu to a responsibility.
4. add this new responsibility to the user
