if i am going to deploye an simple database application i need a single computer for server and i can create a database according to requirment.

now if i want to run an avreage type of OLAP application please guide me minimum and maximum number of computers and how i can run OLAP application on it.

also the major difference between OLAP , OLTP and DWh application and their deployment

I can only tell you that OLAP and DW are the same.

OLTP is a transaction processing system, let's say a ticket plane salling system, or a hotel booking reservation system. That database will have several inserts and update to the tables.

OLAP (or DW) is only a huge database to query and extract information. It's intended to be used by desision making.

I hope you understand.
I cannot reply your entire question because i'm anot an expert in this issue.
