Stored Java function and UNC pathname [message #91866]

Hi experts,
I have mapped NT folder \serverfolder to X: and made a stored Java function. My function finds the files from server's folder X:, but if I use an UNC path //serves/folder with stored Java function then the files are not found. Also UTL-routines work with path \serverfolder.
Server is NT running Oracle8i 8.1.7.4.1 and JServer Release 8.1.7.4.1.
I found several questions concerning Java+folder problems but I didn't found just this question.
