Im having terrible trouble installing developer 2000 on my machine (in fact ive tried two machines and i get exactly the same problem).
Ive installed personal oracle 7 no problem, but when i go to install developer i get the following error
ORAINST CAUSED AN INVALID PAGE FAULT IN KERNEL32.DLL AT 018FIBFF7671F
stack dumped
then a list of registers
ive disabled everything in the sys tray e.g. norton antivirus and anything like that
can someone please help or shed any light
Im using win 98 on both PC's
Ive even defragmentated the harddrive and run scan a thorough scan disk
PLEASE HELP

first install database and then export the registry portion of oracle, then delete the registry and then install developer alter installation import the registry of Database.
i am sure u will get success
