I am currently working on a prject where I am upgrading sql*forms version 2.3 to version 6i. The intermediate migration to sql*forms 4.5 was 66% successful.
One of the INP files converted to a sql*forms version 4.5 FMB but I am not able to open it and receive the following error:
FRM-10043: Cannot open file
Does anyone have a detailed checklist on how to successfully perform this sql*forms migration?
How do you convert the v2 style triggers?
How do you convert the exemacro scripts?
If you have a checklist and/or scripts, can you send via email.

Well Joe,
we have a program that converts forms 3.0 in 6.
It was made in C Builder using Forms API.
If you can send me your .inp, I can try convert it to you and send the .fmb back. If I get do this, and it was simple, I can explain you what happens. Other way I have to pass it to my boss, the convertor owner.
We have a project with about 2000 .inps and 500 .rexs to convert.
Maybe we exchange some information. We have found a lot of little details...
I hope can help you.

So Joe,
As I said, we developed this software to convert forms ans reports in C Builder, using the Open Forms API.
In the conversion, we do a lot of corrections manupulating the .inp (host commands, mask problems, varchar problems and lot of others).
After it calls "ifcmp60.exe".
And after the .inp is converted in .fmb, we manipulate it using Open forms api to do others corrections like layout (in the canvas), LOV problems and others.
The programs becames very beatiful.
Many corretions are expecificly for our programs, others should happens in any forms/reports.
If you have any doubt, I can try help you. And if you can send you .inp, I convert it to you.
P.S.: you can write only in english, I can understand. But thanks for try the spanish.

Hello Vanay,
When working on SQL*Forms conversions from version 2.3 INP files to 6i
fmbs (in addition to version 2 style triggers to pl/sql), I used a tool
called FormsAPI Master available at http://www.orcl-toolbox.com/
The tool will greatly assist with the forms conversions (especially v2
style triggers to pl/sql).

Hi Joe, We have a tool for converting V2 style trigger into pl/sql trigger and also have tool for migrate forms 3.0 applications into 6i. For more detail, pls. send a mail to us.

Seen Ur query. Have U successfully converted ur forms to V6i. Could U pl. expalin us what tools you have used?
What all problems you have faced and how did U solve them..
We have a similar requirement. We have to upgrade forms3.0 to 8i..
Any suggestions please...
