I TRIED A LOT TO INSTALL PERSONL ORACLE 8 & DEVELOPER/2000 . INSTALLATION OF ORACLE IS DONE WELL, BUT WHILE INSTALLING DEVELOPER THE INSTALLATION STOPS WHITOUT ANY ERROR MESSAGE.PLEASE DO REPLY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.I TRIED THIS WIN NT.

Dear Aziz
I was also facing the same problem. U first try to install Developer and then Oracle 8. But now what is trobling me that using Developer 2000 I am not able to connect to Oracle 8 database on Windows 98 so if ur problem is sorted out pl. help me also

I am facing same problem. First I thought that Windows ME has to do some thing with it. I have installed win NT ,Win 95 Win 98, Win Me, Win 2000 pro on My PC but have same problem. I tired all above OS with clean installations. But no go. Also I am able to install database and developer but in two different locations. But you can not connect to database.
Please let me know if one of you come with any solutions. I will also update if I got some thing.
