Is impact of infrastructure and repository during downtime limited only to management functions such as application deployment, joining/remving clusters or would impact be more severe that would require puting infrastructure into a cluster.
In 'Oracle 9i Application Server: Availability, Scalability, and Manageability of J2EE and Web Cache Clusters' it is suggested that impact is not severe, but in 'Oracle 9i Application Infrastructure: Improved Availability with Hardware Clusters' there is vague solution for puting infrastructure into cluster. (but why if it doesn't cause severe impact?)
Any help?
