Daniel,

Dell has a great an Oracle9i RAC certified configuration where all the software comes pre-installed for you, including Red Hat Linux 7.1 with the correct Oracle configuration for 9i RAC. The solution has also been stress tested and certified as one single system, which is very important for a cluster.

Please visit http://www.dell.com/us/en/esg/topics/esg_oraclemain_servers_1_pwrap_o9irac.htm for more information.

Regards,
Nicolas

If you are looking for information on linux and oracle try, http://otn.oracle.com/tech/linux/content.html, www.oracle.com/linux or dell.com/linux

OS wise for linux your best bet is Red Hat Advance Server 2.1.
