hi,
i have to resize one datafile in my production database. My question is that how much i can resize a datafile?

You can increase it as much as you want (limits only on Disk space and in some OS a hard limit of 2 gb)
But cannot decrease the size beyond the max(used) limit.

it is more Easy to add another file to the tablespace.
