Oracle DB version is 8.0.5.2.1 while the export utilities belongs to 8.1.6.0.0 and hence when I try to use the export utility, it fails with an
EXP-00037: Export views not compatible with database version
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

Any suggestions please

when u r doing exp/imp then they ask u for
ignore errors=n u have to say yes
then it ll run
