Hi,
I can able to connect to remote d/b using sql plus, but when trying to connect thru ASP page i am getting "Microsoft ODBC FOR ORALCE ORA-12535: TNS:operation timed out". The webserver is locally placed which contacts the remote d/b. the Server oracle version is 8.1.7 and the client is 8.1.5
can anyone help me? The oracle port 1522 is opened on the firewall.

Hello

Created a database but can not connect to that.
Error encountered: ORA-12535
O.S: Windows 2000 server
Oracle version: 8i (8.1.6)

Looking for help...
