can anyone send me the imp parfile that overwrites the existing tables table i am using oracle 8174

Import will not overwrite existing data.
you need to truncate the table data.
if the table/object is already present,
import will fail ( specify ingore=y to ask imp NOT TO whine when the object is already found).
