I am getting the following error trying to install EM Cloud Control on a system with Oracle Database 21c.

ERROR:You have provided the Oracle Database version {0} that is not supported. Ensure to provide Oracle Database version 19.22 or higher to proceed with the installation

At first I thought this was a listener issue as 21c by default will only bind to TCP6. I changed the parameters in listener.ora to enable TCP4 and am still seeing the same issue.

Any thoughts?

Going to try to run this again on 19.3 but I cannot imagine that 21c would not be supported?

Plz! HALP!

Welcome to the forum - sorry I didn't see your post before. Are you still stuck on this?

I did take a quick look at MOS Certify, and the only certified DB for the repository is release 19.22. That does not mean that your release 21.x won't work, but it may mean that there is some silly restriction that blocks the install. If you look at the installation files, is there anything named, for example, install_prereqs.xml or something like that? oraparam.ini is another possibility. Sometimes there is a silly restriction in the prereq files that lists only one or two releases, but if you add your release to the list the install will then proceed.
