Colleagues,

Can anyone provide a working example, other than ID 2172902.1, of how to log in to a database, via SQL*Plus or SQL Developer, using a USB security token such as Yubikey?

Thanks.

Do you mean the example in the note does not work or is incomplete?
What error do you get?

What Oracle version do you use?

Maybe a search on Oracle docs will give you some clues:
https://docs.oracle.com/search/?q=Yubikey&pg=1&size=10&showfirstpage=true&lang=en

USB Security Token Login is a method of logging into systems using a physical USB device instead of or along with a password. It provides stronger security through two-factor authentication, ensuring only the person with the token can access accounts. Ideal for protecting sensitive data, it prevents phishing and unauthorized access.
