It peaks tonight. This site gives me all I need to know for my current location (I assume based on IP address) and the sky right now is 100% clear:

Hm, missed both John's topic and meteors.

"Peak" here usually means "I think I saw something ..." and the only outcome is that mosquitoes are well fed (of my blood) and me going crazy scratching uncovered parts of my body.

As for the meteors, you are more likely to see a billionaire up there nowadays. I think another went up there just yesterday. What else can you do when you have so much money? (Apart from pay some tax, of course).
