i have too many doubts on oracle tuning, basically to understand why the application is slow. when to use Index. i wanted to know what is the learning path for Oracle performance tuning. Do i need to study more on Architechture and then dwell into tuning.Kindly advice. Do i need to be good at infrastructure like networking and hardware.
