Server Reboot not making DB ON. [message #670600]

Hi All,

Whenever my UAT DB server get restarted only the instance get start and running but not the DB get opened.
Wondering why.

Kindly suggest.

Here is the current setup.

HKLM/software/oracle/key_ora_home_name/ora_oracle_sid_autostart ---- TRUE
HKLM/software/oracle/key_ora_home_name/ora_oracle_sid_shutdown ---- TRUE

SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES=(NTS,NONE)

Have a look at alert.log file.

I don't know, off-hand. I suspect that the seetings are in the registry somewhere.

Did it resolve your issue?

If he does not know he can ask but maybe opening the alert.log with notepad and possibly posting the abstract around the time of the startup. Smile
