No, you are not installing Developer Suite in VMware Workstation. You are installing Developer Suite in some un-named operating system which itself is running under VMware Workstation.

The message is pretty self-explanatory. Your un-named operating system running in the VM is not configured with sufficient swap space to allow your Developer Suite installation to safely continue. You need to find out how to configure swap space in your un-named operating system. That itself is a subject for a forum on that un-named OS.

You may be new to DBA work, but that does not mean that you should switch off your brain Smile

Read the message: OUI thinks that you should have a swap file, and you do not have a swap file. So either create one and continue, or do not create one and continue. It is really up to you.

--updat: just saw Ed's comment. This is Windows XP, aka 5.1.
