Dear all,

I would like to know the default value of SEND_BUF_SIZE and RECV_BUF_SIZE in 11g for IBM Aix 7 operating System. The oracle documentation Oracle® Database Net Services Reference 11g Release 2 (11.2) E10835-10 tells the default value of SEND_BUF_SIZE and RECV_BUF_SIZE ONLY for
Solaris 2.9.

Please tell me the default value of the above parameters for IBM Aix 7 operating System. If possible pleas send the required link.

After you have the two values, how specifically will you use them?

Let me guess.
You have a performance problem.
You think performance problem is network related.
You think you can solve the performance problem by adjusting SEND_BUF_SIZE and RECV_BUF_SIZE.
