Hello,

I recently was told that I had cleared all the interview steps and that I would be getting my offer letter in a couple weeks.

My BG check was completed 2 weeks ago and on contacting the hiring manager, I was told that they are waiting for some executive approvals, but still havent heard anything from them

Anyone with any insight into this or any help is much appreciated.

In which firm/organization/company? Is it Oracle? If yes, then Oracle has multiple levels of approvals and stringent background verification process. And it also depends on your geographical location.

It's Oracle, Software Development position. I din't expect it to be such a long time..

Should I be worried ?

Background verification process is quite stringent and it has few stages. What you are saying is pre-employment background check. Once it's done, you will get your offer details in irecruitment portal for the IRC job code applied.

I can't reveil anything further than this. Get in touch with your hiring manager, and better your HR. All the best.

One suggestion, there are plently of job related forums out there with similar discussions. Post it there, you might get something new to know, which probably I or anyone might hesitate to post here.
