I recently had an update done on Windows 7. After the update I tried to run BI Publisher in Microsoft Word 2010. When I attempted to do so I received an error stating "System Error &H80000FFFFF (-2147418113). Catastrophic failure." I've tried a few solutions (https://forums.oracle.com/message/11028886) & (http://garethroberts.blogspot.com/2013/08/oracle-bi-publisher-desktop-microsoft.html) but that didn't work. Any solutions?

As far as I understood, BI Publisher worked OK before you did that update. What did you do?

Did you check My Oracle Support?

Yes, BI Publisher worked fine until the update. I made updates to Windows that had been appearing for over a week and the next day when I return to the computer and tried to run BI Publisher in Word 2010 I would receive that error. I don't have access to My Oracle Support at the moment.

Did you try to reinstall BI Publisher? Remove it completely, shut down the computer. Start it up again, run the installer.
