I have newly installed Oracle 11g R2 64 bits to window 8 PRo 64 bits.
Able to connection successfully Oracle NEt Configuration Assistant service name.

But when I try to connect it Toad 9.6 32 bits its show error message

ORA-06413: Connection not open

Please guide and help.

ORA-06413: Connection not open.
 *Cause:  Unable to establish connection.
 *Action: Use diagnostic procedures to ascertain exact problem.

Can you connect with SQL*Plus?

Yes I can connect through SQL*plus.

I'm pretty sure your version of toad isn't compatible with 64 bit oracle.

For Windows 7 , 64 bit edition; the solution is simple; copy this (Toad for Oracle 10.6) from here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 10.6 and move it to here or your preferable directory: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 10.6
And then run toad.exe;
And it will work.

i have toad connection problem when I enter database 'locals' user name 'sys' password 'abc' connected as 'SYSDBA' it gives an error ora-06413 connection not open. I have attached the snapshot of error.

kindly suggest me any solution.
