Import SQL table in Oracle [message #569562]

Hi,

I have a table in SQL Server 2008 which is having total "53504872" records.

As per the project requirement, I need to import this table in Oracle 10g. I tried to google but not getting exact stpes.

Kindly suggest.

So you have SQL Server table and want to import it in Oracle database and post this in a MySQL forum... the answer is in a DB2 forum. Twisted Evil

You didn't search very well (of course if you searched in Postgres forums I understand you didn't find anything).
Spool your table in a CSV file and use SQL*Loader (or to load it into Oracle table).

You can convert the contents of your table in CSV file format using PL/SQL or UTIL_FILE library. And if you are a DBA then you can use the Export utility to import table in to binary format.
