how can i monitor the export and import job and how increase the export and import job performance.

can i monitor the export and import job by checking the log and dump file created by export and import and can its performance increase by configure parallism. m i right or not?

For old import and export in non direct mode, just follow the execution of INSERT or SELECT from the tool session.

Increase BUFFER is the first step.
Otherwise documentation of the tool mentioned how to increase their performances http://tahiti.oracle.com.

Yes.

Old exp/imp do not support parallelism.
Once again documentation tells you all.

Also always post your Oracle version, with 4 decimals.
