Hi,
I have just installed Oracle 8.1.6 on windows 2000 server. When I tried to connect as internal, it asks me password. I did not create password file for this server. I also could not connect as sysdba even with SYSTEM. Do you know what is wrong with my server? Thanks.

Jie

connect internaloracle
OR
connect systemmanager

for you info, password file is automatically created for sys during installation. you can alter it for new password for sys.
