Masking the SSN (Taxpayer ID) on supplier base [message #527539]

Client has a requirement on hiding the SSN no.(Taxpayer ID) of suppliers from view only responsibility not from Superuser responsibility .

How can I mask the SSN(Taxpayer ID) on supplier base for view only responsibility?

Can this be done via masking or personalization?

Does Oracle or anyone have a method to mask the SSN - to just show maybe the last 4 digits?

Any thoughts?
