Hi,

I would like to draw a detailed plan for Migrating my databases from one
machine to another . Migrating the databases from O7 to O8i. Could any one
give me a detailed plan before implementing this project.

I did migration as follows

8.0.5/HP-UX -> 8.1.6/AIX (much faster machine)

Not only did the Oracle version changed, so did the OS.

Did export/import. All worked fine.
