oradim service executable path wrong [message #522333]

For a rman restore, I'm trying to create a dummy instance with oradim on a new host with Oracle 10.2.0.4g 64-bit production db-software installed.

Before starting oradim I've set oracle_home to
C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_2

ORADIM -NEW -SID SYNCDB errors out on "The system cannot find the file specified."

Resulting service executable path is:
orant\bin\ORACLE.EXE SYNCDB

Instead of:
c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_2\bin\ORACLE.EXE SYNCDB

Setupfile:
10204_vista_w2k8_x64_production_db

Any clue why it picks orant\bin\ instead of oracle_home?
