Hi !

we have 2 node Oracle RAC on HP supdome vpars . we want to shutdown and start superdome after power change superdome .

therefor we want to shutdwom RAC both node before shutdown the superdome
what is the recommended produre to shutdow ?
what is the recommended produre to start the rac after sverer restart

you can shutdown both using SRVCTL commands and i hope there is a special procedure to bring down the entire RAC environment

1.) Bringdown your applications ie., nodeapps (Through SRVCTL we can stop the nodeapps)
2.) Bringdown the RAC databases Through SRVCTL we can stop the databases
3.) Bringdwn the ASM instances Through SRVCTL we can stop the ASM
4.) Bringdown the Cluster environment that is through CRSCTL
Then check the status of both nodes through crs_stat -t it will lists the nodes information it must show that all are in OFFLINE
and also check ps -ef|]grep d.bin for your any cluster database backround process are running
