I am currently running PL/SQL Developer version 6. Release 8 is out, and has functionality that makes viewing the database scheduler a lot easier.

Would this version be compatiable with an Oracle 8 database? Can I safely go ahead and install release 8????

It definitely won't be able to view a Scheduler that does not even exist in Oracle 8.
