Dear all,

When i want to insert into a table then it insert successfully. If the record is duplicate then it gives the database generate message. But i want to give user defined message ie. exception handle by developer.

How it possibe.

Are you using the standard Apex built-in functionality to do the insert or are you calling a procedure that you have created to do an insert?
