How we can perform the instance profiling same as SQL server database profiling in oracle.

Sriram,
if I am not wrong DBMS_PROFILER does not give the out put like SQL server profiler Smile

so I have explicitly specified similar to MS SQL profile.

BTW I presume that you have already used MS SQL, so considering that what MS SQL does is : - it give Very precise visual Snapshot of current scenario of server

what SQL objects are ruining
a)With parameter values.
b)Total time taken.
c)Total # no of hits between time a to b.
d)we can save this data as file and import into database table.

so on same lines i am looking for oracle tool.

Sriram,

Some more info.

Intro to MS SQL Profiler, we can reply all the trace on server to get the exact scenario at specific porint of time.
