I read several post how Dataguard takes care of switch over the secondary to primary in case of failover.
But how to handle the changing the IP of the standby to primary and the hostname entry in tnsnames.As the standby will be having different hostname and IP.If its manual method then there is some downtime.

ASAIK; Try to implement ONAMES concept.
