Hi,
Using : Oracle Reports 10g (10.1.2) installed on AIX
I am trying to fire a report from the OAS server using rwclient.sh using DESTYPE=FILE and DESNAME=/home/reports/MYREP.TXT
However I am getting the following error on report execution
rwclient.sh cmdfile=/tmp/.myrep_param
REP-0177: Error while running in remote server
Executed successfully but there were some errors when distribute the output
FILE : Cannot write into file MYREP.TXT
Is there some restriction to where the reports server can write to ? if yes which config file has these details ?

Usually these errors depends on the fact that you can not write to the specific directory. Please try to make a file there by hand. If that does not work something is fishy about the access rights, on /home/reports
