Hi,
We have migrated forms 3.0 to forms 4.5 Unix character mode. We have connected to Oracle 8i and 9i for testing and it works fine. But the issue is Keyboard mapping. Forms 4.5 Keys are not the same as in Forms 3.0. For eg: for execute query, we use F7 key in Forms 3.0. After conversion to Forms 4.5, it changed to Keypad number 7 key.
I am trying to convert the keyboard mappings to the same as in Forms 3.0 using Oraterm23 utility or resprint23/resparse23 utility.
I've opened the fmrcvt100.res using oraterm23 and changed the F7 key mapping as mentioned in one oracle metalink doc. but it did not work. Now I am trying to use the resprint23 utility to convert the .res file to .prn, modify, and convert back to .res using resparse23. But I am not sure how to modify the prn file. for eg: to change the "execute query" mapping to F7 key, I need to modify with the escape characters for F7. Not sure which characters to use.
I would really appreciate if someone help me modify the .prn file or any other way to customize key mapping.
