Capture Delete_record [message #381651]

Hi,

user clicks Delete button, i am calling the Delete_Record from this button . after the delete_record, the record is not available on the block,How can i capture the Deleted Record ?

basically i want to capture the deleted record for audit purpose. i am interested in using the screen level audit rather then the table level

In the 'pre-delete' trigger at the block level write your own code to insert the record details, plus audit information into a 'deleted_record' table.

write a on_delete trigger on block as


insert into audit_table(empid)
values (:emp.empno);

delete_record;

Does it solve your problem?
