Hi i have created a script in which i have used mailx command.The script is working fine but it is not able to send email to a user.The command i have used is like this

mailx -s "hi" abc@xyz.com
what is the problem with the command and if some configuration is to be done then please help me.

Do you get any errors or is the mail not delivered? Also check for errors in your /var/log/maillog file.
