How do I import data from an excel spreadsheet into an Oracle table?

can anybody explain me how to do this in detail.....

Hi
There are many ways to do it....
the easiest one is.....
Use MS-ACCESS to first import the excel into access table. And using odbc export it to oracle table............

Or use oracle utility sqlldr....
goto
http:\technet.oracle.com and search for 'sqlldr'
you have detailed docs over there.......
