Hello all,

I want to make a copy of a database DB1 running on server x to a server y. I tried with import and export but this doesn't seem to work. Is there another way ?

thnx in advance...

What exactly didn't work? You need to create the instance first on server y and then do an import.

You can also copy the physical files themselves and edit the backed up control file. This is a faster but much more complicated way however as I skipped many details
