Hello,
I Ssystem Adninistrator. Recenlty I got yhe responsibilty to have Oracle installed & running on Sun E-450 server with multiple SID's. This system has 4 GIG memory available. I am suppose to run 5 SID in one machine with same SGA.
I have Shared memory set to 4 GIG & Semophores set to 10000. But I have only been able to bring up 3 SID's. Whenever I try to bring up 4th SID, Oracle gives me error. Could anyone of you help me please to let me know what else I have to set other than the two parameters.

Thanks
