Can anybody guide me how to apply credit check based on credit days?

Let me explain my requirement:
Customer 'X' is having credit limit of,say, Rs50000.
He has raised sales order for 40000/- already.
The payment against invoice should be done within 30 days.

Now, imagine there is an invoice for which payment is past due 30 days.
so, now when i try to raise a sales order (even if for an amount of Rs500)for customer X, system should not allow me as there is an invoice whose payment pending more than 30 days for customer X.

How to acheive this?

Can anybody help?

You can apply Credit Hold for this customer at customer level
so that no more sales order will be allowed.

Credit Hold is a checkbox in Customer Standard Form

Hi ..

Credit Limits need to be set up for one or more of the following:
1. Item category level
2. Site level
3. Customer level
4. Party level (This level is applicable only if Credit Management is installed)
5. Operating Unit Default level.

A)Navigation:
Order Management Responsibility:
Setup -> Rules -> Credit

B)In 'Credit Check Rules' window , click on 'Exposure' tab.
At bottom there is a filed 'Maximum Days Past Due'. Here enter days number ex: 1 or 10 etc. For you are case enter as 30 and save it.

Now pl check the credit check functionality ,, i hope it will work.

Thanks
