I migrated a form from 6i to 10g its got compiled succesfully,but during run time i see some difference in the background colour(Eg:In 6i it is Green whereas in 10g it si Blue).COuld any one tell me the root cause of it.We feel it is just because of the different version of jinitiator used as each jinitiator has its own color scheme,if so them how to overcome them.

Hope i made it clear.

Check the Developer_Suite_Home\forms90\server directory; it contains the FORMSWEB.CFG file. See what's under the "colorScheme" parameter. Valid values are Teal, Titanium, Red, Khaki, Blue, Olive and Purple. Try to set it to different values and see how the application looks like. Note that the colorScheme parameter value is ignored if lookAndFeel parameter is set to Generic.

Ya i checked it but we need to retain it to generic else the look and feel of 6i and 10g seems to differ.we had a play around with that parameters in formsweb.cfg file but we are getting back ground color changes only for some forms and not for all the forms.

Have you looked at the Form level properties of the two different form styles?
