giving forms web look [message #335500]

Hi.

When we run form it runs in explorer with the default manu bar.

I wanted to know
1) how can i hide its default menu?
2) how can i hide window's title bar and its (minimizing/restore/closing) buttons.
3) how can i give my forms a complete web look?

Please guide me.

Open form's Property Palette and modify its "Menu Module" property; by default, it is probably set to "DEFAULT&SMARTBAR"; set it to "DEFAULT" or leave it empty, run the form with both options and see which one better suits your needs.
No idea
A complete web look? What's that?

3. A complete web look? What's that?

Take a look at the following link for the web look i am talking about.

The forms in above demo are running without default menu and window. The whole application is giving a complete web look.
I want to create ( forms,buttons,interface) just like in above demo.

Kindly help me or provide any link of documentation.

I see; it looks interesting, by all means. Unfortunately, I wouldn't know how to produce such a result.

However, as part of URL you've given contains "technology/sample_code/products", perhaps you could find information you're interested in there. I didn't check so I can not guarantee that you'll, actually, find the answer there.

On the other hand, some of Forum members might know the answer. Hopefully, he/she will see your question and provide help.

Yes

Its all possible in Oracle Forms. But the problem is how to do it.

I am still looking for help from any member.

Please help or provide link of documentation if he/she knows.

Go to the Oracle Forms web site http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/index.html on which you will find 'Sample Code' at http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/products/forms/index.html which contains the '"Healthy Living" demo viewlet 1-May-2006 A viewlet presentation of one of the demo applications in the 10gR2 demos package.'
