Hi,
I have installed 10AS with forms services also. I put my project.fmx in forms folder in oracle_home. I am using http://<servername>:7780/forms/frmservlet?form=project.fmx to invoke my form through web using IE. it invokes but asks for username/password. I am providing "SYSTEM" usename and its password then it is navigating to my form. what could be the issue.

There's no issue, as far as I can tell. You need to provide valid credentials in order to connect to the database. That's just the way it is.

The only "issue" might be your choice (SYSTEM and its password); I, somehow, doubt that normal database use (through front end like a form) requires SYSTEM privileges. Perhaps you should consider creating another user, grant it privileges this form uses and leave SYSTEM (as well as SYS) alone.

I agree. but after opening the link through IE, it is going on the screen attached herewith first and after login to system user, its is opening my fmx.

Is there anything you can suggest me?

Did you check the documentation? Application Server (choose your version from the documentation page), as well as Oracle Forms technical information, Oracle Forms 10g – Forms Deployment Guide

can some one tell me instead of
http://<servername>:7780/forms/frmservlet?form=project.fmx

how can i configure it on a simple url for the end users to remember a single url like
http://<servername>:7780
only.
