Hi all,

still now we are using oracle9i.Now now I want to upgrade it to 10. so I need to comapre the files in 9i and 10g and I am going to findout the new things and have to add those those things.so please let me know is there any toold to comapare two files and identify where the modifications required.. Please let me know

You want to compare 9i and 10g datafiles? No (useful) way!
They are binary files.

I want ot compare patches for another one not oracle 9i and 10g. i am jsut giving those two for example..

If you are trying to create your own patch set, good luck! Your next question might be "where can I find and how can I install a brand new 10g database, because existing one is dead?".

Comparing tools can be easily found using Google.

Hi

I have compared two .exe files using COMPARE SUITE tool. But I
am not getting the differences in those two files. Is there any
other tool to find out the differences and what are the
modifications has done when upgrading from one version to other
version.

Please let me know.
