Sorry, I may have made a mistake by assuming that English is your first language. What you are suggesting only works in conventtional theory if the relation values are values of the same relation type, in which case you tare talking about RVA's, not DVA's. Unless you have a different, unspecified algebra in mind. Suspect the next question will be along the lines of "why?" but I'll try to pre-empt that and ask first, "why not English?".
