Speaking of structures and behavior, I used to study both. Historically I started with behavior, and discovered that the picture is not complete without the other part -- the structure. By "behavior" I didn't mean these naive OOP thingies -- I'm referring to the theory of Petry Nets. Needless to mention, that the Petri Nets never enjoy even a fraction of database success, and Petri Nets researchers are still dreaming about "the calculus of parallel processes" that would someday revolutionize their field...
