publically accessible SQL databases

I've developed a technique that allows me to create a graphic visualization
of a relational database. Does anyone know of a list of public RDBs on the
Internet that permit SQL (via ODBC) read access? Or, individual sites?

Content isn't really important, but I'm in the testing phase, so simpler
is preferred.

I found one: ensembldb.ensembl.org This site contains over 100 genomic
databases. Not the best example for demonstration purposes.
