Yeah, permitting the prediction of overlaps wouldn't be neccecary when requiring a time window...

How do you mean exactly? Using one table for Pattern/Repetition definitions and one for the actual generated single events? Then when and how would you trigger the generation of events? (Thats the easier part though :) )
