This is the kind of thing that drives me nuts. I'm just about certain that Rdb/VMS supported this kind of constraint as far back as version 3.1 (about 1987). But nobody ever heard of Rdb/VMS, so they assume it's never been done in a commercial SQL DBMS. But it has! Received on Sat Aug 13 2005 - 10:38:29 CDT
